I'm a fan of eating for free. I'm a member of Groupon, Living Social, Amazon Marketplace and zSpotlight, so I'm constantly getting daily emails about deals that are happening in the area. Most of the time, the deal is restaurant related, so I like to take advantage of trying a discounted meal whenever possible.
Today's deal is not from any of those sites. Today's deal is actually a recurring deal that anyone can take advantage of every week. And Cliff and I usually do take advantage of it every week. So, if you're a fan of Boston Market, this deal is something you will appreciate.
I discovered my appreciation for Boston Market once I started my new lifestyle. I realized that Boston Market is actually a fairly decent place to go to get a well-rounded meal for not many calories at a decent price. I usually visit Boston Market for dinner with Cliff or for lunch about once a week. And when I get my meal, the cashier always asks if I want a receip. Here's a tip: ALWAYS GET THE RECEIPT! At the bottom of your receipt, you'll get the deal for which this post is written.
That's right. At the bottom of the receipt is a BOGO deal for the following Saturday. And this happens every week. So, every week, I find myself eagerly getting lunch or dinner so I can take advantage of the BOGO deal later in the week. It keeps me away from more expensive restaurants with tempting entrees and drinks, and I never feel really guilty consuming one of their meals. Most times I get roasted turkey breast with a double helping of steamed vegetables. The cornbread usually becomes a treat for my pups. And after I eat, I have a happy tummy and a happy wallet.
Now, you may be thinking "Well, this doesn't really sound like a good deal. You have to go to Boston Market twice to take advantage." Well, it's a good deal for me because there is a location near my work where I can get lunch, or if I'm just having a very busy evening, there is a location near my home for Cliff and I to take advantage of a meal that almost seems home cooked without breaking the bank (or our waistlines). So, if there is a convenient location for you and you actually like their offerings, I certainly think this deal is that's worth going twice in one week. I mean, it's hard to resist food that looks this inviting.
